臺灣大學電子報 NTU E-Paper

It’s already been a month since the semester started!

As the semester picks up speed, announcements, assignment due dates, and grade postings are starting to roll in one after another. With so many messages coming your way, take a minute now to check your NTU COOL notification settings!

|You Don’t Need Every Notification — Choose What You Really Need!|

You can freely customize your notification preferences for different course activities, such as new assignments, online quizzes, and discussion replies. Choose from four notification frequencies that work best for you: Immediately, Daily, Weekly, or Turn Off Notifications.

Don’t want to adjust the settings course by course? You can simply configure your “Account” settings and apply them to all your courses at once! Have a course that’s particularly important? You can also fine-tune the notification settings for individual courses separately.

|Different Roles, Different Notification Tips!|

For Students:
Be sure to pay attention to “Due Date Changes,” “Course Content Change,” and “Grade Postings and Changes.” These notifications help you stay up to date with assignments, quizzes, and grades more quickly.
(For detailed settings, please refer to the
Student User Guide.)

For Instructors / TAs:
Use the “Late Assignment Submission” feature under 【Course Activities】 and the “New Reply” feature under 【Discussions】to keep track of students’ submission progress and activity in discussions.
(For detailed settings, please refer to the
