Dear Instructors and TAs,

As final exam week approaches, we’ll share a quick and efficient way to record final grades in NTU COOL. We have also included a series of short tutorial videos on grade settings for your reference.

Wishing everyone a smooth and successful end to the semester!

PART I – Quick Review: How can I directly enter semester grades in COOL?

This method is suitable if you normally keep grades elsewhere and ONLY use NTU COOL to record students’ final course grades.

1. Create an assignment specifically for entering Final Grade, and enter the grades there.

2. In the Assignments section, create a NEW assignment group with a weight of 100%, and add the assignment named “Final Grade” to this group.

3. Place all other assignments in the same assignment group and set the weight of this group to 0%. As a result, the grade entered in Step 1 will be used as the final semester grade.

REELY COOL 5 – How to Show or Hide Grade Distribution Charts and Grade Summary Totals

6. Want to see exactly what students see and verify that grade information is displayed as intended?
