[COOL Insight｜Issue 08] Teachers / TAs: Please Note – End-of-Semester Grades & Gradebook (Beta) Guide

Dear Teachers / TAs,

As the semester ends, instructors and TA can start to send the final grades on COOL to the online grading system, you can check this file for more detailed information.

Also, there are some instructions for the FAQs as we approach the end of semester. You can check if any of the questions below match your need, and go to End of Semester FAQ for more information.

Furthermore, we launched the Gradebook (Beta) feature in the 111-2 semester to improve the user experience of teachers and TAs for grade management.

The following are the Features of Gradebook (Beta):
①Adding Assignments quickly: You can create an assignment on the gradebook page with a few steps instead of on the assignments page, and this is perfectly suitable when grading paper-based exams or assignments.
②Importing and exporting grades by Excel files: You can export the entire Gradebook as an Excel file for grading students, and then import the grade to NTU COOL by uploading the file.
③Viewing students’ information: You can see the basic info of students on the grade book page (information used by NTU teachers to identify students like student ID, department, etc., )
