新增數位典藏: 數學教室曆算珍籍
一、數位典藏簡介
國立臺灣大學圖書館承繼臺北帝國大學時期珍貴典藏，其中包括理農學部「數學教室」講座所購置近代早期 (1868年以前) 和算 (日本傳統數學)、天文學等方面的典籍，其規模與重要性媲美當時日本國內之帝國大學所藏。
本館特藏組偕同日本大阪教育大學科學史專家城地茂教授，進行相關目錄調查，並出版《國立臺灣大學圖書館館藏曆算史料解題目錄》，是瞭解日治時期科學教育與數學發展的珍貴資源。本數位典藏資料庫收錄部分館藏和算及曆算典籍，並持續建置中。

New Digital Archive: 數學教室曆算珍籍
1. Description
The National Taiwan University Library has inherited valuable collections from the period of Taihoku Imperial University, including early modern works (published before 1868) and classical texts on wasan (traditional Japanese mathematics), astronomy, and geography acquired by the College of Science and Agriculture’s “Mathematics Classroom” chair. The scale and significance of these materials are comparable to those held by the Imperial Universities in Japan at the time.
The Library’s Special Collections Division collaborated with Professor Shigeru Jochi, a science historian from Osaka Kyoiku University, to conduct related cataloging research and published the Annotated Catalogue of the Wasan and Calendrical Studies Materials of National Taiwan University Library. This publication serves as a valuable resource for understanding scientific education and mathematical development during the Japanese colonial period.
This digital archive includes the Library’s holdings of wasan and calendrical calculation texts and continues to be expanded.
