Unstoppable: Yen-Chen Ting Delivers Gold for Taiwan
Yen-Chen Ting, a student in the Department of Business Administration at National Taiwan University, brought home the gold medal for Taiwan in the men’s singles badminton event at the 2025 Rhine-Ruhr Summer World University Games in Germany. Displaying exceptional skill and composure, Ting achieved a flawless run—winning six consecutive matches without dropping a single game.

D-School Exploratory Learning Recognized as Top 100 Education Innovation
Since 2021, the College of Innovation and Design at National Taiwan University (NTU D-School) has pioneered the Exploratory Learning Program, offering students a “gap year–style” learning experience between their academic studies. With over 200 participants to date, the program has empowered NTU students to step outside the classroom and into the world—pursuing international education, artistic creation, entrepreneurial ventures, and personal growth.

Marking its third decade of vibrant artistic displays and performances, the 30th NTU Arts Festival concluded on a high note this May. Ever since its inception, the festival has demonstrated the university’s commitment to arts education by bridging campus and society through exhibitions, performances, and public engagements. This year’s milestone edition, themed “Tide: Rise and Fall,” expressed the sense of transformation, rhythm, and renewal that defines not just art but also the times we live in.
