試用資料庫: 中國近代中英文報紙庫-新聞報等4種資料庫
一、資料庫簡介
1. 中國近代中英文報紙庫-新聞報(1893-1949)發行逾半個世紀，涵蓋啟示公告、書籍、醫藥、電影、戲劇等各個領域。其副刊快活林也是該報的重要特色之一，其休閒特色濃郁，主要包括遊戲文章、小說、海內外趣聞、影戲評論、漫畫等。
2. 中國近代中英文報紙庫-盛京時報是「日本在東北影響最大、在華歷史最久的中文報紙」。《盛京時報》的副刊《神皋雜俎》創辦於1918年，至1944年停刊，是《盛京時報》的重要組成部分。該刊辟設小說、詩歌、科學、實錄等十幾個欄目，集結了許多重要的東北現代文學作家，對研究東北淪陷時期文學有重要幫助。
3. 中國近代中英文報紙庫-神州日報在內容編排上頗費心思，先後開闢了60多個欄目(如按地區分類的京師通信、邊事近聞、世界特約電、本埠新聞等；按新聞類別的有命令、商務、社論、教育、體育等)，成為這一時期欄目最多的報紙之一；同時，詩詞掌故、小說等文學作品也非常豐富。
4. 中國近代中英文報紙庫-小報 5-7輯 以消閑娛樂為主, 熔新聞、評論、文藝、知識、娛樂、地方掌故於一爐。

Database trial: Sin Wan Pao and three others
1. Description
(1) Sin Wan Pao
Sin Wan Pao was issued for more that half a century and grew into a major newspaper comparable to《Shun Pao》.《Sin Wan Pao》possessed a large volume of advertisement placement and a wealth of information, involving various fields such as books, medicine, movies, plays. Sin Wan Pao's supplement, Kuai Huo Lin, was also one of the major features of the newspaper. Highlighting leisure and recreation, it included game articles, novels, anecdotes from both China and overseas, movie reviews, comics and more.
Sheng-ching Shin-pao was " a Japanese newspaper that enjoyed huge influence in the Northeast and has the longest history in China. Its supplement, Shen Gao Za Zu, was established in 1918 and ceased publication in 1944. As an important part of Sheng-ching Shin-pao, it featured dozens of columns such as novels, poems, essays, sciences, and records, and brought together many important writers of Northeast modern literature; as such, it is very helpful to the study of literature from the Japanese occupation of Northeast China.
The National Hearld was the first large-scale daily newspaper founded by the revolutionaries of the late Qing Dynasty. The staff of The National Herald had spent a lot of time on content arrangement, and it had more that 60 columns, becoming one of the newspapers with the most columns in this period, in addition, various kinds of poetry, novels and other literary works appeared in the newspaper helping to enrich content of the layout and attract readers.
The tabloid newspapers emphasize leisure and entertainment, integrating news, commentary, literature, knowledge, entertainment and recreation which fully reflect their merit as "recording what broadsheet newspapers cannot record, speaking what broadsheet newspapers can not speak, and writing about add yet intriguing things with fluent and playful touch".
