一、資料庫簡介
1. International Herald Tribune Historical Archive：檔案庫完整收錄《International Herald Tribune》1887年創刊至2013年的原始文獻內容，為首次數位化。內容報導各類新聞事件，包括戰爭和國際政治、藝術和文化、科學、技術、體育等。
試用日期：即日起至2024年11月15日止
2. Rafu Shimpo Digital Archive提供日英雙語報紙《羅府新報》1904年至今原始版面，包含完整圖文內容，連同廣告圖片皆可閱覽。《羅府新報》重視不同社群的分析與交流，是研究日本歷史及日本移民社區的資源之一，亦提供臺灣及中國近百年來的歷史觀點，包括日本時期殖民政府的經濟、交通政策、臺灣教育推行、大學建立、電力普及等議題，二戰期間日本在中國進軍狀況、國民政府的反應、汪精衛政權的報導等。

3. Global Census Archive整合了出版品與GIS數據集，收集來自200多個國家的官方人口普查數據與出版品，使用者可以全圖像、全文本電子書形式瀏覽歷史出版物，並下載Excel格式的表格數據與GIS數據。

Periodicals Archive Online 為19~20世紀回溯人文社會期刊資料庫，Collection 1-6由國科會以全國學術版方式引進台灣提供各大專校院使用，強化人文、社會科學領域的研究資源，陸續推出Collection 7-10。
試用日期：即日起至2024年12月31日止。

1. Description
(1) International Herald Tribune Historical Archive：An online, fully searchable facsimile, the International Herald Tribune Historical Archive 1887-2013 delivers the full run of this internationally focused daily paper, from its first issue through to 2013. Articles, advertisements, and market listings are included—shown both individually and in the context of the full page and issue of the day. International Herald Tribune Historical Archive offer exceptional analysis of world politics, arts, technology, and events from 1887 to 2013.

(2) Rafu Shimpo Digital Archive is the longest running Japanese American newspaper in the United States. The paper began in 1903 supporting the small but growing Japanese community in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles, California. By the 1940s it was the most widely circulated paper in the region and included a weekly English section for second generation Japanese Americans. The paper was forced to cease publication and its publisher was imprisoned by the government during World War II, but was revived in 1946. The archive provides access to full images of every available issue, including photos, graphics, and advertisements.

(3) Global Census Archive is an innovative program to collect official census publications and related materials from around the world. This global collection contains both original census publications and GIS data. Available publications include official results, tabular data, questionnaires, methodological works, public campaign literature, and other relevant content types.

(4) Periodicals Archive Online
Periodicals Archive Online is a major archive that makes the backfiles of scholarly periodicals in the arts, humanities and social sciences available electronically, providing access to the searchable full text of hundreds of titles. The database spans more than two centuries of content, 37 key subject areas, and multiple languages.

2. Accessing the database
(1) Please go to the NTU Library Homepage and click “Search & Find”→ “E-resources”→ “Databases”→ “Trial”. And then click the link of the database you want to access in the trial list. To access trial databases from off-campus, please set up NTU SSL VPN.
(2) Please follow the terms and conditions in the database providers’ license agreements.
