試用資料庫: Oxford Reference等五種資料庫
一、資料庫簡介
1. Oxford Reference
Oxford Reference由Oxford University Press (英國牛津大學出版社)出版，彙集了2百萬條來自牛津辭典、指南與百科全書的電子條目，資源涵蓋了 22個不同的學科領域。該資源提供的內容從一般參考資源到專業領域的深入文章。
本館已採購約30種線上參考工具書，目前開放全庫試用。
試用日期：即日起至2024年6月1日止。
2. Grove Art Online
Grove Art Online是學術類藝術百科全書，涵蓋西方和非西方藝術，其內容囊括視覺文化的各面向，其所載文章主題多種多樣，從野獸派和Frida Kahlo到可供深入研究參考的書目以及數千幅可搜索的圖片。
試用日期：即日起至2024年6月1日止。
3. Naxos Music Library- Jazz《拿索斯‧爵士樂圖書館》
Naxos Music Library-Jazz《拿索斯爵士樂圖書館》 總收藏量超過21,390張隨選爵士樂唱片，包含32,000位爵士樂手及作曲家之作品，304系列Labels,超過240,924首樂曲。
試用日期：即日起至2024年7月12日止。
4. Naxos Music Library- World《拿索斯‧民族音樂圖書館》
收錄150個國家的民族音樂，超過1,500個文化表演團體，32,000位音樂家，提供多元文化的民族音樂，透過民族音樂的記錄、保存與傳播讓使用者認識不同族群的文化，參與、並認識欣賞自身的文化遺產。
試用日期：即日起至2024年7月12日止。
5. Naxos Video Library《拿索斯‧古典音樂影片圖書館》
內容包含古典音樂表演、戲劇與芭蕾、國家旅遊影片以及現場演奏與資料影片，提供超過3,575個影片與全文資料。

Database trial : Oxford Reference and another four databases
1. Description
(1) Oxford Reference
Oxford Reference is the online reference product, spanning 25 different subject areas, bringing together 2 million digitized entries across Oxford University Press’s Dictionaries, Companions and Encyclopedias.

(2) Grove Art Online
Oxford Art Online offers access to the most authoritative, inclusive, and easily searchable online art resources available today. Through a single gateway, users can access and cross-search Oxford’s acclaimed, regularly updated art reference works: the Grove Dictionary of Art and the Benezit Dictionary of Artists. Grove Art offer global coverage of visual culture, composed and expanded in collaboration with thousands of scholars and specialists around the world.

(3) Naxos Music Library- Jazz
Naxos Music Library Jazz covers a wide range of jazz music with recordings from over 32,000 artists. Labels include Blue Note, Warner Jazz, EMI, Enja, Fantasy and more. New albums are added weekly.

(4) Naxos Music Library- World
Naxos Music Library World (NML World) offers a wide range of content, from legendary historical performances to contemporary world music featuring recordings of over 32,000 artists, and covers music from over 150 countries and 1,500 cultural groups. The complete catalogues of important world music labels such as the ARC and Smithsonian Folkways are on the platform, along with thousands of titles from over 350 other labels. New titles are added weekly.

(5) Naxos Video Library
Naxos Video Library is a performing arts video library with over 3,678 operas, ballets, documentaries, concerts, masterclasses, competition and musical tour videos as well as footage taken from recording sessions. The Library is being updated continuously to offer the best selection of performing arts videos.

2. Accessing the database
(1) Please go to the NTU Library Homepage and click “Search & Find”→ “E-resources”→ “Databases”→ “Trial”. And then click the link of the database you want to access in the trial list. To access trial databases from off-campus, please set up NTU SSL VPN.
(2) Please follow the terms and conditions in the database providers’ license agreements when using databases.
