一、資料庫簡介
1. ProQuest historical newspapers-Chinese Newspapers Collection
ProQuest Historical Newspapers- Chinese Newspapers Collection 歷史報刊-英文近現代中國報紙庫，共收錄12種當時於中國發行的英語報刊，記錄中國從君王體制轉變為民主政體並經歷許多內憂外患的歷程。
2. Digital National Security Archive
涵蓋自1945年二次世界大戰至2016年，關於美國外交及國家安全的政策決定等機密檔案解密資料，提供11萬3千多份超過65萬頁的解密檔案，共包含50多個子庫組成，每個子庫皆為單一主題，如『中國大陸與美國：從敵對到和解(China and the U.S.: From Hostility to Engagement,1960-1990)』及『季辛吉紀錄 :美國外交檔案(The Kissinger Transcripts：AVerbatim Record of U.S. Diplomacy,1969-1977)』等等，每個子庫中皆收錄了不同的政府文件、總統命令、備忘錄、外交任命、會議記錄、獨立報告、簡報、白宮往返文件、電子郵件、秘密信件、機密文件等。另外各子庫亦提供由專家撰寫之詳盡介紹及導讀論文、年表、詞彙解釋表。本校已訂購部分子庫，此次開放全庫試用。
試用日期：即日起至2022年12月9日止。

1. 請從本館網頁點選「研究資源」→「電子資源」→「資料庫」→「試用資料庫」→ 點選欲查詢的資料庫名稱。若於校外，請先設定校外連線VPN。

From leading issues and events, like the U.S. Civil War, immigration, westward expansion, industrial developments, race relations, and World War I and II; to international, local and regional politics, society, arts, culture, business, and sports, ProQuest Historical Newspapers™ reveals the day-to-day news coverage to researchers and historical explorers, providing invaluable insights and information to users from a wide range of subjects.
(2) Digital National Security Archive
Digital National Security Archive unlocks a vast trove of important declassified U.S. government documents, providing vital primary source material to advance research in twentieth and twenty-first century history, politics, and international relations. Working in collaboration with the National Security Archive to preserve and widen access to this significant material, ProQuest has created a collection of U.S. official documents. More than 875,000 pages and approximately 140,000 documents respectively are included, with many gathered through extensive use of the U.S. Freedom of Information Act by The Archive.

(1) Please go to the NTU Library Homepage and click “Search & Find”→ “E-resources”→ “Databases”→ “Trial”. And then click the link of the database you want to access in the trial list. To access trial databases from off-campus, please set up NTU SSL VPN.
(2) Please follow the terms and conditions in the database providers’ license agreements when using databases.
