Job Opportunity at the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE), Taiwan
The Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) was established by the Department of Health (DOH) of Taiwan on July 13, 1998 as a non-government, non-profit organization (www.cde.org.tw) to support the technical evaluation of new drugs and new medical devices for regulatory requirements and offers related consultation services as well as health technology assessment under the commission of DOH. CDE develops pharmaceutical regulatory science and makes timely recommendations to meet the need of policy development. It plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of drug evaluation, thus promoting public health and welfare.
CDE is offering unique opportunities for individuals with biomedical related backgrounds and related administrative experience. (1) Director for Division of Project Management:
Division of Project Management of CDE consists a team of 12 project managers devoted to project management during the review process of technical dossiers for IND , NDA, regulatory consultation, etc. Project managers are also involved in development of regulatory procedures and coordination within CDE and also Taiwan FDA. CDE is seeking an experienced individual with the following credentials to assume the position of the director for Division of Project Management.
1. Academic Training: MS or higher degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or other Life Science-related disciplines
2. Working Experience: Seven or more years experience in drug/medical device registration. Experienced on project management and administration. Three or more years experience in executive position. The experience in biomedical or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
3. Other Background and Skills:
a. Familiar with the governmental health administrative systems of Taiwan and other countries.
b. Familiar with the environment of biomedical and pharmaceutical industry, with its research activities, clinical research and trials, registration and related regulatory aspects, in Taiwan and other countries.
c. To lead, manage, and motivate teams of specialists and knowledge-workers.
d. Good inter-discipline skills for communication and coordination internally and externally.
